HOW TO INSTALL DAILY DEAL EXTENSION :
- Step 1: Install the extension with Magento connect.
- Step 2: Extension will be enabled automatically. [Check under System->Configuration->Advanced->Disable Modules Output to confirm it is enabled under name – Ocodewire_Dailydealbasic ]
- Step 3: Now while adding/editing product under left tab Product Information->Daily Deal Product Options, there are options to enable the product for daily deals, set its price and dates, enlist it as a Featured product.
- Step 4: To use it as a Widget, add/edit CMS page -> Insert Widget -> Select Widget – Ocodewire Daily Deals: Product
- There are two types of templates available:a) One Product template

- – Shows only one product in the widget (if more than one product is enabled then it shows the product randomly )
b) Multiple product template

- – Shows all the products enabled.

- Step 5: Countdown timer will be automatically inserted on the Single product page and Category Grid/list pages.
- Step 6: Enable/Disable Daily deal box in Left/Right sidebars in System->Configuration->Ocodewire Daily Deal Configuration
- Step 7: Manage all the text displayed in the Daily deal box under System->Configuration->Ocodewire Daily Deal Configuration
